This past weekend our planet lost a very special individual: Sabine Cassar Alpert.
The words beneath this wonderous photo of her were written by her friend and fellow She Who Blogs member Sabine Munshi.
The loss of a friend, Sabine Cassar Alpert. This weekend a friend of mine lost her battle to cancer. She was diagnosed last November and she fought a difficult battle. Sabine and I never met, but we have known each other for 5 years. WE both shared a passion for blogging, photography and so much more. And yes, we shared a name. She was born in Germany and married a man from Malta and that is where she resided most of her adult life. She leaves behind a son and her husband. IT is strange how someone you have never met in person, can leave a void. She was an amazing woman and fantastic photographer. I will miss her dearly!!
Suge a huge loss to our She Who Blogs family.

It seems to me that there far too many who leave usand not of thier own free will, because they do fight so very very hard to hold on to life !We lose them but never think for a moment anyone out there that they will be forgotten, not Sabine nor my dear sister inlaw Barbra nor a friend of the family Pat.
To God they went lead by Angels.

very touched by Sabine's story, I know she will be missed. wishing her family strength and courage in these difficult times. I did not know her and only discovered her blog now.. she was one special lady.
