The world around me always seem to filter through my mind and ideas keep popping out. I find myself constantly coming up with themes but I thought one at a one would be better and easier. It's always interesting to see the various interpretations on just one theme.
This week's theme is: The Wreck of My Memories
It comes from the tv show Beauty and the Beast from the episode, Song of Orpheus, which aired on November of 1987. The phrase is part of a goodbye letter to one of the character named Father/Jacob Wells.
That is all I am going to tell you, feel free to interpret however you like.
"The wreck of my memories" is a metaphor comparing fleeting memories to a shipwreck. In the tv series, it is interpreted much the same way. The character is holding onto her bits of memories like holding onto to the remains of a wrecked ship.
This is a rather difficult theme so I am going to add some more ideas to it - how about Memories or Letters or Beauty and the Beast which the above phrase is base on. I hope this will generate some ideas.
I decided to move the date up because I would like to give more time to those who wish to catch up with the themes.
